Jamie has worked for a number of disability organisations and is a disabled person himself. He has worked at ADKC since 2000.

Dorota Zielinska – Office and Finance Manager Email:

Dorota has a long history of involvement with ADKC. She has taken over from Eric (retired July 2016) as our Finance manager.

Marian O’Donoghue – Information and Advice Officer Email:

Marian previously worked for voluntary organisations in Brent, Tower Hamlets, Lambeth and Islington, as an Advice Worker in a variety of settings, including outreach.
Marian joined Action Disability Kensington and Chelsea in January 2007, as Information and Advice Officer.

Martha Girgis - Office Admin support officer / Lifelong Learning coordinator. Email: /

Martha Girgis was appointed Personal Budgets Administrator and Development Worker in December 2009, and progressed to her current role of being a Personal Budgets Information and Advice officer. Martha previously worked for a period as a Volunteer, at ADKC and abroad.

Currently, Martha supports both the office administration and coordinates the Lifelong Learning project.

Jenny Hurst – Independent Living / Personal Budget Co-ordinator (Independent Lives K&C Project). Email: (changed from

Jenny joined ADKC as the Personal Budget Coordinator in October 2010. A disabled person herself, Jenny has been employing her own Personal Assistants since the mid 90′s. Jenny has worked, and volunteers, in a number of roles supporting people to live independent lives.

Glenda Joseph Lewis  - Personal Development Officer (Independent Lives K&C Project). Email: (changed from

Glenda was an ADKC member, and trustee, for many years before joining the staff team as the Lifelong Learning coordinator. She now supports the Independent Lives Kensington and Chelsea Project part time as the Personal Development Officer.

Mariya StoevaAccess Project Officer Email:

Mariya has been an ADKC member for a number of years and has also sat on the board of trustees. She has now joined the team part time as the Access Project officer.

Left 2018Simone Galloway - Disability Connect Co-ordinator.

Simone joined ADKC in May 2008 to cover the Lifelong Learning post for a brief period, then the Advocacy Project for a year covering maternity leave. From there Simone took up post as Consultation Officer in August 2009 and, more recently, took on a new challenge within ADKC as the Day Opportunities  / Disability Connect officer.

In August 2018, Simone left ADKC after 10 years working here to pursue a new job in a Disabled Person’s Organisation closer to her home. We wish her all the best! Simone’s goodbye message can be seen here.
