ADKC is a not-for-profit organisation. This means that every penny that we receive, we invest in providing services for local disabled people.
Many people like to express their gratitude for the support that they have received from us by offering to make a donation. We know that, for many a financial contribution is not possible - however if you are able to, and you feel you would like to make a donation, you could do this:
By cheque -
- please make cheques payable to “Action Disability Kensington and Chelsea”.
In cash -
- By popping into the office. Please do NOT send cash by post!
By text / sms -
- Donate by text using “Just Text Giving” and your mobile phone - text the word ADKC12 followed by £2, £5 or £10 to 70070. (e.g. texting ADKC12 £5 to 70070 would be a £5 donation to us). This donation would then show up on your next mobile bill. Note -as we use the “free” version of this service - it will not tell use who the donation is from, unfortunately.
By bank transfer -
- Please get in touch with us for our bank details if you wish to make a one-off (bank transfer) or regular (standing order) donation to us.
Leaving a legacy in your will -
ADKC has also been able to do some great work thanks to money that members have been kind enough to leave us in their wills. If this is something that you might consider – please get independent advice about how to go about this.
Gift Aid -
Whichever method you chose to donate money to ADKC, it is worth remembering that there is a way to make your donation go even further thanks to the government’s Gift Aid scheme. If you are a UK tax payer (most people are!!) you can sign a “gift aid” declaration and the government will give us an extra 25p for each £1 you donate! It doesn’t cost you anything extra!
