Disability Hate Crime on Social Media Enquiry (by 15th Aug)

Inclusion London – an organisation supporting Deaf and Disabled People – have asked us to forward on the following:

Unfortunately Disability Hate Crime takes place every day and we wish to raise awareness of it by submitting evidence to the select committee inquiry into hate crime hate crime and its consequences. Do you know of examples of hate crime against Disabled people that has been posted on Youtube,  Facebook or twitter or other social media? Or do you know of cases of Disability hate crime that Deaf and Disabled people have experienced, especially since the result of the EU referendum? Please send examples to Henrietta.doyle@inclusionlondon.org.uk by 15 August. The background to the inquiry is the rise of hate crime since the EU referendum.
